Lawn Care
The Legacy Lawn Care program consists of eight treatments throughout the year to control weeds to make your lawn greener, healthier, and thicker.
Aeration & Overseeding
Legacy Lawn Care recommends the combination of aeration and overseeding for Fescue lawns only. Aeration allows water and nutrients to get to the grassy roots, and overseeding allows your lawn to become thicker. This service will be provided in the fall season, and it is recommended each year.
Aeration
When Legacy Lawn Care aerates your lawn, we remove plugs of your soil. This allows water and nutrients to get down to the grassy roots of your lawn. All types of lawns can greatly benefit from an aeration service – especially common Bermuda, Zoysia and Centipede lawns.
Fire Ant Control
At Legacy Lawn Care, we use premium products to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. The product that we use is TopChoice™ for year long fire ants.
Grassy Weed Treatment
Nutsedge resembles grass, but it is a weed!. We minimize nutsedge tremendously through three applications of a product that also controls unsightly nutsedge for the next season, too.
Clump grass treatment is best for properties with multiple grasses growing on the property. Legacy Lawn Care recommends two treatments to ensure maximum clump grass control during the season.
Flea, Tick & Mosquito Control
Legacy Lawn Care offers a monthly service to control fleas and ticks during the warmer season. This insecticide treatment is applied onto the grassy and wooded areas of your property.
Vegetation Control
Legacy Lawn Care is committed to ensuring that your property looks its finest, and our vegetation control service is no exception. We will help you to control and rid your property of the unwanted kudzu and underbrush prior to expanding or adding new sod or seed to the area. Depending on the extent of the vegetation and underbrush, the actual number of treatments can vary.
Fungicide Treatment
Two of the more common fungus related diseases in the Southeast are brown patch and dollar spots. The Legacy Lawn Care team will be happy to apply a fungicide to your property every three to four weeks during the warm growing season to ensure that these unsightly fungal diseases are not an issue for you! Some fungus related diseases require a fall treatment because this is when they are most active.
Outdoor Pest Control
We don’t know about you, but Summer is our favorite time of year here at Legacy Lawn Care. Swimming, grilling, ants, ticks, and other pests make the season a blast for everyone! These treatments control the other bugs and pests on your property that are not fleas, ticks, or fire ants. This specific application is applied across your entire property – including ground cover, shrubs, and mulch.
Ornamental Tree & Shrub Care
The Legacy Lawn Care tree and shrub program includes seven treatments spaced out over the course of the year, which protects your trees and shrubs from insects and diseases to make them healthier.
Army Worm & Grub Preventative
The reality is that if your property has had any damage from grubs during the previous year, it is more likely to be damaged from grubs again this year. Legacy Lawn Care is more than happy to help you with this problem, and the worm and grub treatment service occurs three times during the warm summer months. After this service, there is an approximate two-month residual effect on the application.
